How it Works
Baulkham Hills Shire Council provides promotional support to community and other events held in Sydney Hills. The support involves promotion on both the Sydney Hills and Council websites, active promotion to local and Sydney media outlets plus distribution to personal subscribers. Additionally, What's On information are distributed through to local shopping centres, accommodation venues, Visitors Centres and libraries across Greater Sydney by email, highlighting the most visitor friendly events each month.
Criteria for Inclusion
- Events must be held within the Sydney Hills marketing region.
- Full details must be provided for the event including contact details that can be made available to the public should they require further information.
- Events should be listed by the 8th day of the month prior to their occurrence (eg 8 January for an event occurring in February).
- Listed events must be genuine events. Sales and other commercial or retail promotions will not be listed. Regular meetings for community groups can be listed on Council's Community Directory
- All events will be checked prior to public listing or distribution. Council and its Officers reserve the right to make any amendments to listed information.
- Full discretion for the inclusion of any event in the What's On Guide and its various promotional opportunities rests entirely with Baulkham Hills Shire Council and its responsible Officers. No correspondence will be entered into.
